Application Process

If you are interested in making a Democratic difference in your community and applying for Emerge New Jersey's 2018 class, please follow the instructions below. Applications for Emerge New Jersey's 2018 class will open on July 1, 2017. The 2018 tuition program cost is $800.00 per participant. Contact Emerge New Jersey Executive Director Truscha Quatrone at 973-541-9595 or for any questions.

Your application will be complete once you have:

1) Completed the online application,

2) Submitted the $50.00 application fee, and

3) Emerge has received two letters of reference (see online application.)

You are responsible for ensuring that your application is complete.

Emerge New Jersey will select up to 20 women who met the criteria and who we believe have the potential to be political leaders.

Time Commitment

The success of the Emerge program depends on the commitment to the program's entire schedule by each participant. During the six-month period, approximately 70 hours of training will be provided by New Jersey experts in their respective fields.

Emerge New Jersey will review completed applications and select finalists for the Program. Finalists will be invited to attend an interview. From these interviews, the 2017 Program members will be selected.

Tuition & Scholarships

Tuition for Emerge New Jersey's 2018 program is $800.00. Tuition includes weekend trainings with top-rated trainers and political consultants; meals including: breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the training; and premier training materials for program members. Once accepted into the Emerge New Jersey program, you can pay your tuition here.

Emerge New Jersey believes that individual financial circumstances should NOT be a barrier to participation in the program. Financial aid, including scholarships and payment plans, may be awarded after admission to the program.
